Sunmi releases debut single "24 Hours" + Reveals music video

JYP Entertainment's new solo artist and former Wonder Girl member Sunmi has released her debut single "24 Hours". The translation of the Korean title is "24 hours are not enough".

"24 Hours" is a dance track that was written and composed by Park Jin Young, he also participated in the choreography, music video filming, and the styling. Not familiar of Sunmi's singing and dancing talents. When she was in the group (Wonder Girls), I wasn't listening to K-Pop at that time. Since leaving in 2010, she was still apart of the company and their has always been rumors on whether or not she'll return with the group. Of course now that seems likely, the singer has debuted as a solo artist and the question.........is her debut track great? I see some similarities in her concepts, Ga-In's "Talk About S" album cover looks somewhat like the single above and Ga-In's 2010 music video for "Irreversible" has some similar in her video. Besides that its a decent track, the vocals doesn't necessarily seem strong, but it fits with the mood of the production.

Sunmi is scheduled to release a mini-album this year and a full-length album in 2014.
