British soul singer John Newman is known for being featured on Rudimental's #1 single "Feel the Love" and Top 20 single "Not Giving In". Growing up in Settle, Yorkshire, he began writing his own songs at the age of 14 and even learned how to DJ and produced his own music. About two years ago he signed record deal with Universal / Island Records, John finally prepping for his debut album "Tribute", which is scheduled to be released in October.
Back in May, he revealed his debut single titled "Love Me Again". The track was written by Newman and writer-producer Steve Booker, who created Duffy's hit single "Mercy". It has a very interesting fusion of house, hip-hop, and soul music. The single has proved to be a hit, it sold 125,000 units and debuted at #1 on the UK Singles Chart.
