This is the third time that they have worked together. First one being "Love the Way You Lie" from his album "Recovery", and "Numb which was featured on RiRi's 2012 album "Unapologetic". "The Monster" was co-written by songwriter Bebe Rexha and produced by Frequency. It's a nice hip hop urban-pop sounding track. Due to their previous collaborations becoming hits, I'm sure this song would be no different.

Britney Spears reveals "Britney Jean" album cover + write letter to fans

Britney Spears has revealed the official cover for her upcoming eighth album "Britney Jean". The album is set to hit stores and digital retailers on December 3rd via RCA Records. The artwork is quite simple, but I understand why. According to Brit, this project is her 'most personal album to date'. I'm guessing the stripped down black and white photo showcases the vulnerably. She shared the artwork, a personal hand-written letter and also announced the second official single. The track is titled "Perfume", that was penned by Sia. It scheduled to be released on November 5th.

You can read the letter in full via her official website or take a glace at it, after the jump

Dear Fans,
I haven't sat down to write you guys in SUCH a long time. Long overdue! We're all so used to getting our thoughts out in 140 characters, but sometimes its nice to take time to sit down and write something a little longer and more personal. I am putting the finishing touches on my new album, "Britney Jean" over the next few days and I am so excited for you to hear it. I poured my heart and soul into this album and it's been an incredible journey. I've learned a lot about myself, and as I am finishing, I am reminded of the incredible foundation that has supported me for the last 15 years. Thank you all for continuing to follow me on this journey and for allowing me to do what I love to do. I can't believe this is my eighth studio album and I know I keep telling you that it is my most personal record yet, but its true and I’m really proud of that.
I have been through a lot in the past few years and it has really inspired me to dig deeper and write songs that I think everyone can relate to. Working with people like Sia, William Orbit, and of course Will.i.am has been an amazing experience. They have listened to all of my ideas and helped me bring them to life. There are a lot of really fun, upbeat dance songs, but it was important to me that I show my strength, and my attitude, and my vulnerability. Of course, I also have some surprises for you guys ;)
I want to show you the different sides of Britney Spears. I am a performer. I am a Mom. I am funny. I am your friend! I am Britney Jean.
Hope you love my labor of love!

Love Always,
Britney

Blaque returns with buzz single "Summertime Ridin'"

Its been a long, like over a decade since we've heard the R&B group Blaque doing any musical related activities together. The wait is now over, they're currently working on new material for a new full-length album. It will be dedicated to group member Natina Reed who passed away in October of last year. The project doesn't have an official release date as of yet. The group has recorded three albums, with only one seeing getting into the hand of fans and that was their self-titled debut album. They have guaranteed this album will get released and I sure as hell hope so.

YouKnowIGotSoul got the exclusive news from the other two members Shamari and Brandi. They also gave them oppurtuntiy to premiere their new single "Summertime Ridin'".

In an exclusive with YouKnowIGotSoul, Brandi explains:
"When we first recorded "Summertime Ridin" it was one of my favorites because of how catchy it was as far as the hook and all of that, said Brandi. "I know this summer has passed and we're going into the fall, but it's still summer wherever we are. We always just want to show that it's sunshine, it's bright, it's happy time and it's all of that when you see Blaque. I just think it's that type of song. It's a feel good record, so hopefully the fans will love it".

4/5

"Summertime Ridin'" was written and produced by Lewis Rocc and Matty P. It will probably be on the girls new album, which is their first release since their debut album in 1999. The fun feel-good record has a catchy hook supported by playful and bass beat. Very nice, but I'am expecting the first official single to make a statement and declare that they are back.

Toni Braxton & Babyface delays duets album until 2014

R&B singers Toni Braxton and Babyface have delayed their duets album "Love, Marriage & Divorce" until next year.

The powerhouse duo have announced a new release date for project. It was originally slated to drop in stores on November 25th. Now it's set to arrive just in for Valentine's Day on February 4th via Motown Records. If you think about it, a February release would be perfect for the album for obvious reasons.
"I think because Babyface and I have both gone through divorces, we can relate and we can collaborate together on this topic and make it so others who have gone through this situation can relate", Toni told ESSENCE.
The first single leading the project is titled "Hurt You"and is available to purchase on iTunes now.

Video Premiere: Tamar Braxton - Hot Sugar

R&B singer-reality star Tamar Braxton has premiered her Instagram inspired visual (calling it 'Tamartiangram') for "Hot Sugar". The track serves as the fourth single from her album "Love and War", which is out in stores now.

The video is an epic fucking fail. She delivered a very low-budget video, with a set that could have been recycled from Beyonce's "Single Ladies" or "Green Light" videos. She was whipping that ponytail like she was doing an parody of Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair". Another thing that was horrible, first of all Tamar looked great with her post-baby body, but those dance routines was executed properly. This was just a whole hot mess.

Check out the video, after the jump.

Video Premiere: Rebecca Ferguson - I Hope

Rebecca Ferguson has premiered music video for "I Hope". The track serves as the first official single from her upcoming sophomore album "Freedom", which is set to hit stores and digital retailers in the UK on December 2nd via RCA Records.

In the visual, Rebecca is singing along with the track in a apartment high enough where she's looking over the city at night. Thought-out the video, scenes featuring different situations are put in.

The single will be released on November 24th in the UK.

Check out the video, after the jump.

New Music: Leigh Bush - Free Falling

Leigh Bush (formerly known as Sammie) released a new track titled "Free Falling". Its the second single following "Dancer", which is on his forthcoming self-titled EP "Leigh Bush".

5/5

"Free Falling" is a beautiful ballad about being in love with someone and not knowing if the feeling is the same. Bush says the song was inspired by a real-life situation, a friend wasn't sure if he should fall in love first in his relationship.
"Free Falling derived by a conversation I was having with a friend of mine", he explains to Singersroom. "Discussing how he was falling in love first during a blossoming friendship. I then proclaimed: "just jump" (free fall) and hope that she catches you. It's rare that a man falls harder and first in relationships. I found it refreshing", explains Leigh.
When he was going by the name Sammie he was a teen heartthrob singing to teen girls. Now he's 26-year-old and is now creating more mature sounding music, which is a major plus.

New Music: Lady Gaga - Do What U Want (Feat. R. Kelly)

Lady Gaga has released a new track titled "Do What U Want" featuring R. Kelly. The track is the first promotional single that's apart of the iTunes countdown for her upcoming album "ARTPOP", which is set to hit stores and digital retailers on November 11 via Interscope Records.

4/5

"Do What U Want" was first previewed in a 30-second Best Buy commercial for "Beats by Dre". The single cover created a lot of buzz, it's a close-up Gaga's backside wearing floral thong. The track was produced by DJ White Shadow, "Do What U Want" is a uptempo synth-heavy 80's dance pop number, with a little bit of an R&B edge. Both Gaga and R. Kelly delivered an awesome soulful 'church choir' like vocals. Personally (meaning as a person), I don't like R. Kelly, but I do have respect for what he's done in music. When the tracklist was revealed I saw his name on there and was sooooooooo confused. He was the last person I expected her to collaborate with, in the end I liked the song and I'm hearing this will serve as the next official single.

You can pre-order her album "ARTPOP" on iTunes now.

New Music: Keke Palmer - Work Like You Love Me

Hours after portraying Chilli in the VH1 original movie CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, singer-actress Keke Palmer debuted her new single "Work Like You Love Me".

1/5

She teamed up with producer Bangladesh for the single, its the first release from her new deal on his label Bangladesh Records.
"I'm excited to release "Work Like You Love Me" as a thank you to all my fans for their support!", said Keke. "Working with my producer Bangladesh has really opened me up as an artist and it's been a journey of discovery from teen into adulthood. We have some great songs that I can't wait for you all to hear and I hope you like this teaser track".
The track is EDM driven, with some hard hitting drums. I don't know how I feel about this. I leaning towards not liking, the beat and the lyrics doesn't mesh well together.

Little Mix announce second album "Salute" + Reveals album covers & tracklist

Standard Edition

Following the premiere of their new single "Move", Little Mix have revealed the official album cover and tracklisting for their upcoming sophomore album "Salute". The cover looks more mature compared to the first one, but its not exactly the most original that I've seen.
"People have expectations now. But we're always up for trying more. So on this album it's more vocal harmonies, it's more writing that we've done, it's more about pushing ourselves as vocalists", Perrie recently said about the album. "We didn't rest until it was perfect".

"We've worked extremely hard writing this album over the past couple of months, and cannot wait to perform for all of you Mixers!"

New Music: Justin Bieber - Hold Tight

First week we got "Heartbreaker", last week "All That Matters", and this week Justin Bieber premiered another new track titled "Hold Tight". The song is the third to be released apart of his Music Mondays series. He plans to release a new song every Monday for the next 9 weeks up until the release of his new movie "Believe" movie in December.

3/5

"Hold Tight" is another R&B slow jam, Justin sings about a love that he can't seem to leave alone.
"I am a hopeless romantic so when I love someone, I never want to let them go", Justin tweeted. "This song is about the rush you get when you have that feeling. No matter how hard you try, you can’t let that person go. You just want to hold on as tight as you can. I tried to capture that with this one".
Not as good as the first two releases, but still a good track.

The project was released independently, its apart of his musical mini-series. The electro-pop set contains four songs, including "Hang On 2 Your Love" with Durand Bernarr.

The EP is a good collection of music, you get tracks with a retro style and an 90's club feel. This is just another constant reminder on how overlooked he is in the music industry.

New Music: Rebecca Ferguson - I Hope

British singer Rebecca Ferguson has made her return to music with her new single titled "I Hope". It serves as the first official single from her upcoming sophomore album "Freedom", which is scheduled to be released on December 2nd. The album is the follow up her 2011 debut album "Heaven", that went to platinum status selling over 500,000 copies.

4/5

The track premiered on Graham Norton's BBC Radio 2 show. "I Hope" is a soulful mid-tempo cut featuring a solid vocal performance over drum-piano driven production, which has a great build up to it. The song also includes a catchy chorus.

The single will be released on November 24th in the UK.

Video Premiere: Kat Graham - Power

Actress-singer Kat Graham made her musical debut last year with her track "Put Your Graffiti On Me". Don't know why it didn't make any huge impact on the charts, because it was a infectious club banger.

Miss Graham released her latest single "Power" earlier this year, which serves as the first official single her upcoming second EP. I'm guessing Kat's debut album is not coming until possibly until mid or late 2014. The premiere of the music video has finally arrived. She looks stunning in the visual, though I wish it had an actual concept.

The single is available to purchase on iTunes now.
