Pixie Lott to release self-titled album + announces 1st single "Nasty"

Pixie Lott has officially announced some details about her upcoming new single and album.

The singer-songwriter revealed all the exciting news through a recent Google+ Hangout. She debuted the cover for her upcoming third album, which is self-titled (Pixie Lott) and the first official single taken from the project is called "Nasty". The album serves as the follow-up to 2011's "Young Foolish Happy". Been waiting forever for another album from Pixie. Her sophomore album had some really good music on there, unfortunately is didn't do well. It debuted on the UK Album Charts at #18, with very low first week sells.

Check out the full Google+ Hangout below.

Its being reported that "Nasty" was originally recorded by Christina Aguilera as a duet with Cee Lo Green for her Burlesque movie. Aguilera's version of the track never got released. Since then, it has been reworked by Pixie.

The single is scheduled to be released January 2014.

New Music: Kat Dahlia - Crazy

Cuban singer-songwriter Kat Dahlia is ending 2013 strong with the release of a new single titled "Crazy". The 23-year-old made her debut this year with the breakthrough track "Gangsta", after that she continued to get her name out there with several other singles like "Fireman" and "Clocks". She recently released a six -track EP "Seeds" in November and is currently recording her debut album "Garden", which scheduled to hit stores in February 2014. The album will feature production Salaam Remi, Timbaland, Rico Love, Stargate, Naughty Boy, Fraser T. Smith and many more.

5/5

"Crazy was produced Glass John, its a infectious upbeat pop track with an slight throwback R&B sound that can't be denied. Kat sings being in love at times can make individuals to do 'crazy' things and make bad decisions (I can sure hell relate to that). Her husky voice brings it to a whole nother level, when you combine it with the drums, guitar, and hands claps in the background. This could easily become a hit on the radio, with the right push behind it. I'm totally feeling this song, it could possibly be the best track she's revealed since "Gangsta".

Video Premiere: John Mayer - Who You Love (Feat. Katy Perry)

John Mayer and Katy Perry is the love they have for each other in the premiere of his music video "Who You Love". The track serves as the third official single from his sixth album "Paradise Valley", which is available in stores  and digital retailers now.

The visual was directed by Sophie Muller, it features the real-life couple and others riding a mechanical bull and then it moves to a desert setting.
"We set up the casting call for real couples", John revealed during the Good Morning America debut. "There was nothing scripted in the video, except putting the bull in the middle of the desert".
Cute video, but the song is a grower.

New Music: Cassie - Indo

One year after the release of her EP "True", Solange brought her favorite R&B artists for her very first compilation titled "Saint Heron". The album serves as the first release on her independent label Saint Records. It features 12 tracks that includes appearances from  Jhené Aiko, Sampha, Kelela, and many more. Bad Boy artist Cassie is on the project as well, she gives her vocals on the album cut "Indo". Haven't really heard too much from the singer since she dropped her mixtape "RockaByeBaby" earlier this year.

2/5
"I've loved Cassie since 'Me&U', she's such a talented artist", Solange said about working with Cassie. "A few other people had written some stuff for her, but when we were talking about working together, we realized that we really wanted to go into the studio, just the two of us, and just jam out and feel each other's vibes".
"Indo" was written and produced by Solange herself, she also provides background vocals. I love these type of songs that has that mellow, laid-back, feel good production. Only problem I have with it is......well Cassie. Knowing the type of voice she has (which is very soft), you would think it would blend nicely along with the beat. For some reason I don't like her on this, she should have gotten Tinashe, Vanessa Elisha or even Banks.
