Vanessa Elisha releases her debut EP "Don't Go"

After releasing the singles "Blur" and "Home To Me", Australian-born singer-songwriter Vanessa Elisha releases her debut EP "Don't Go".

The five-track effort is a very soothing EP, filled with 90's R&B love songs and ballads. The production was provided by JRDN GXNXVS and CVIRO, she also wrote the lyrics to all the songs. Her smooth sensual vocals fits perfectly on the soothing instrumentals. Vanessa has a really great thing going with upcoming producer GXNXVS, together they make magic in the recording studio. Her style and sound resonates with some of my personal favorites such as Jhene Aiko and Tinashe.

"Don't Go" is strong debut for the rising star, its playable from start to finish. She got something very unique going on with her voice and I definitely want hear more in the NEAR future. Whether its another EP and a full-length album, which would be awesome.

You can download the EP for free via her official website.

2NE1 releases digital single "Do You Love Me" + Reveals music video

2NE1 are back with a digital single "Do You Love Me". Its the second out of four tracks, that's scheduled to be released up until October.

The music video was filmed personally by the members of 2NE1. Its a home video capturing all of the groups moments at Jeji Island and Seoul.

"Do You Love Me" was created by DEE.P, Lydia Paek, and YG's main producer Teddy. It was said that this would be similar and strong like the group's 2011 hit single "I Am The Best"............................. I have to seriously disagree. "Do You Love Me" is a cheery Summer song, but its generic and theirs nothing epic about it. "I Am The Best" was epic as shit and made a fucking statement, hell it was one of the best songs to come out in 2011. Even the other songs they're released that year is better "Hate You", "Ugly", "Lonely" and that's a damn ballad.

2NE1 are much more capable of putting out some great shit, besides what I'm hearing through my headphones. I was let down last month with "Falling In Love" and now this. September is quickly approaching, hopefully the next one will blow me away. I going to love and support them regardless, but YG Entertainment needs to step they game up.

New Music: HAIM - Falling

With two successful releases under their belts ("Forever" [EP], "Don't Save Me" [EP]) from last year, Californian sister trio HAIM released their third EP called "Falling" back in April. It includes the title track "Falling", a live version, and two remixes.

"Falling" is another effort that has a lot quality. The hippie-synthpop single is one of the bands best to date. I seem to think that with almost all of their new music.

Travis Garland premieres new single "Clouds" + Debut Album to drop in September

Travis Garland has come a long way since his boy band days, the singer-songwriter is unexpectedly back with his new single "Cloud". Along with the premiere of the track, the music video was also revealed. Wait their more good news. The track serves as the first official single from his long-awaited and highly-anticipated self-titled debut album, which is to hit stores and digital retailers on September 10th via Stinkface Music.

He dropped two mixtapes, the first being "Fashionably Late" that was released in October 2012. The next one was the second installment called "Fashionably Late Vol II". A music video was revealed for one of the mixtape tracks titled "Where to Land". Visit Travis's official website to get both of those great bodies work for free.

"Clouds" is a smooth and seductive R&B track, with a dark twist to it. Their's several vibes and influences that I hear like The Weeknd to Miguel and even Frank Ocean. This new single demonstrates and proves how great Travis Garland's talent is. I think he's versatile and could do also any genre of music, which is what I'm expecting for his debut album, full of versatility.

Introducing: CVIRO

CVIRO (pronounced Cairo) is another one of 2013's rising stars. The 24 year-old producer-singer-songwriter is from Gold Coast, Australia (which is where a lot of good talent is coming from lately). He's currently working on his upcoming debut album and SURPRISE SURPRISE talented producer on the rise JRDN GXNIUS (Vanessa Elisha, Vinny Cha$e) is crafting his music. I love GXNIUS's work, especially the stuff he's done with another new artist Vanessa Elisha.

In a interview with HelloBeautiful, he named various artists whom he draws inspiration from:

"This is a difficult question to answer because there are so many artists I draw inspiration from, he continued. "The few key artists that stand out to me when I was a kid would have to be Jagged Edge, Jon B, Donnell Jones, Tank and Aaliyah".

Early this year, he released his first two free buzz tracks: "Feels Good" and "High Society".

"Feels Good" was produced by JRDN GXNIUS. Through out the song, theirs extensive layers of mellow vocals. Expected nothing but perfection when it came to the production.

CVIRO teamed up with Harlem-native Vinny Cha$e for his new single "High Society". It came to no surprise that the track is produced by JRDN GXNIUS. "High Society" isn't just an typical R&B track, it's mellow and has a bit of an Hip-Hop vibe.

The Aussie stepped his game up further with his latest single "Faded". The track was co-written by Australian singer-songwriter Vanessa Elisha and produced by GXNXVS.

The smooth sensual R&B track serves as the first single from his upcoming debut EP "Elevation", which is scheduled to be released later this year.

The music video has premiered for the track, it was directed by RICO and Hanley Zheng. The black and white visual shows CVIRO doing numerous things, while the videos leading lady looks on.
