New Music: Vanessa Elisha - Home To Me

Unsigned Australian singer-songwriter Vanessa Elisha follows-up on her successful debut track "Blur" with the second release titled "Home To Me" from her forthcoming EP.

Listen to the track below.

"Home to Me" was produced by JRDN GXNIUS (also produced "Blur"), who is working with the singer on almost all of her music. Over the chilling emotional production, Vanessa gives some smooth and beautiful vocals. Elisha sings about heartbreak and wanting for that person to go back to the way they were. Vanessa and JRDN GXNIUS complement each other well, like how Aailyah was for Timberland. In the future, I hope these two continue to make music together.

The track is available for free download through her official Soundcloud page.

Jordin Sparks returns with new single "Skipping A Beat"

Jordin Sparks is finally back with some new music. The former "American Idol" champ premiered her new single "Skipping a Beat" on (Thursday) August 1st. The singer was teasing fans about the release on Instagram and Twitter. The tracks serves as a preview to what we're going to hear on the follow-up to her 2009 sophomore album "Battlefield".

"Skipping A Beat" is an mid-tempo pop song with a breezy R&B vibe, it's inspired by her pop star boyfriend Jason Derulo. She sings: "You're my lover, you're my friend, you're my gangsta". Speaking of Jason, Jordan is also preparing to release a duet with him titled "Before It Breaks". The track is a total opposite of the fierce 2011 single "I Am Woman" which was originally set to lead her third album.

Overall, its cute song but not single worthy. "Skipping A Beat" is also no more like an album filler and that's more than likely what it's going to be.
