Karmin has revealed the album cover their debut album "Pulses".
The album will include first official single "Acapella" and a new track "Try Me On". The duo signed a record deal with Epic Records in 2011. In 2012, they released their successful debut EP "Hello".
They were explain the album title to Rolling Stone recently and revealed:
"We want to call it "Pulses" because it’s kind of like the honeymoon is over now. They explained. There's good and bad. It's not necessarily everything is happy-go-lucky tracks. There's also some serious stuff. There's definitely a lot more depth in it, which is something we've always felt we wanted to do".
Their debut EP "Hello" featured the hit single "Brokenhearted". That particular release was more in a pop direction. If you've listened to "Acapella", the duo seem to have departed the pop sound for an urban sound. Not to say I didn't like their previous release, but I'm loving this Karmin.
"Pulse" is currently scheduled to hit stores in September.
