British singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor is making her musical return with the release of her fifth album "Wanderlust" on January 20th, 2014. She has premiered the first official single from the project titled "Young Blood".

4/5

The Ed Harcourt-produced ballad is an complete departure from her previous material consisting of a dance-pop sound. She revealed a demo version before the official audio premiered and this is just as good. Its a simple piano ballad, which utilizes strings and Sophie puts on a wonderful vocal performance.

3/5

"I Got It" was produced by LT Hutton and was co-written by Future, where he provides the adlibs on the track. Ashanti has been struggling to find the right single to launch her upcoming album and to get people interested in it. The track is gets a thumbs down, I hear nothing that grabs my attention. This is more like an album filler, more than a official single.

Its an uptempo hip hop song, with a good rapping and an addictive chorus. The music video shows showcase their dance skills. Since this is their debut, the agency could have put a lot more thought in the making of the video. It wasn't too impressive.

New Music: Timberland - Know Bout Me (Feat. Jay-Z, Drake, & James Fauntleroy)

After within the last year producing music for Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z's newest albums, Timbaland returning again with his own music. The track is titled "Know Bout Me" featuring Jay-Z, Drake, and James Fauntleroy. It serve as the buzz single from his upcoming fourth album "Textbook Timbo" (formerly Shock Value III), which is set to hit stores early next year via Interscope Records.

2/5

"Know Bout Me" begins with an hard hip-hop beat, it sounds like an typical Timbo production. I would like him to go into the studio and mix up something up slightly different, when it comes to his beat. The rapping was alright, can't say I love it due not being a major fan of rap music.

His new single will be released on December 3rd.

Video Premiere: Jessie J - Thunder

Jessie J has premiered the music video for "Thunder". The track serves as the third official single from her sophomore album "Alive", which is available in stores now in the UK and in early 2014 in the US.

The video was directed by Emil Nava. It shows the British singer in the desert at night dressed in a leotard and cape. "Thunder" is probably one of the best tracks from her new album, but video wasn't that eye catching. Theirs nothing wrong with doing a simple video, just add something that will help it standout a bit.

"Run & Run" is the title track from their second mini-album called "Into The Light.

The song is really good, but it hasn't gotten major attention from the K-Pop audience. The music video has a dark powerful concept. The boys sports two different sets of outfits, they even fight it out with each other during the video.

New Music: Justin Bieber - PYD (Feat. R. Kelly)

Following the release of "All Bad" last week, Justin Bieber released another new track titled "PYD" featuring R. Kelly. The song is the seventh to be released apart of his Music Mondays series. He plans to release a new song every Monday for the next four weeks up until the release of his new movie "Believe" movie on Christmas Day.

3/5

"PYD" (Put You Down), it's slow R&B jam that features Justin showing off his freaky side. With a song talking about this particular subject, their was no surprise that R. Kelly would put his vocals on the track. He is an adult (19-years-old), but it's kinda weird to hear him singing about WHERE he wants handle his sexual business.

New Music: Justin Bieber - All Bad

Last week we got the Ice Cube-sampled "Bad Day", Justin Bieber released another new track titled "All Bad". The song is the sixth to be released apart of his Music Mondays series. He plans to release a new song every Monday for the next five weeks up until the release of his new movie "Believe" movie on Christmas Day.

4/5

"All Bad" is slow R&B track, you would think it would be another simple slow jam. This week he's singing about his reputation and explains to the ladies that they shouldn't listen to the negative stuff being said at the moment. Considering all the stuff floating around about Justin at the moment, this probably was a good time to release the track.

New Music: Britney Spears - Perfume

After much teasing, Britney Spears released her new single "Perfume". The track serves as the second official single from her upcoming eighth album "Britney Jean", which is set to hit stores and digital retailers on December 3rd via RCA Records.

1/5

"Perfume" was co-written with Sia and produced by will.i.am, Chris Braide and Keith Harris.
"It's incredibly special to me because it hits close to home, and I think the story is relatable to everyone", Britney told E! News. "Everyone's been through an insecure moment in a relationship that's left them vulnerable and I think this song captures that".
"Work Bitch" was a MAJOR fail for me and I'm afraid to say "Perfume" is no better. Britney did showcase some good vocals. SIGH, here's my problem with this, she calls it an emotional track and I don't feel any particular way when I heard it. The lyrical content was OK, personally it wasn't the best it could have been. The verses I liked, but when the chorus kicked in, I became disinterested. I'm not comparing, but when I listen to "Everytime", it evokes a lot of emotions. This right here is just another typical bland and boring ballad.

You can pre-order her new album "Britney Jean" on iTunes now.

New Music: Dawn Richard - Fade

After reuniting with Danity Kane over the summer, the group announced they working (currently) on their first album in five years. The first single taken from their upcoming third album is "Rage", produced by the Stereotypes. Its said to be coming out soon, for me not soon enough. While Dawn Richard is back with the group working on their highly anticipated return, she isn't slowing down her solo career. She has released a new track titled "Fade".

5/5
"Really love the production on this record. Make sure you grab some headphones hearts and blast it. It’s a sonic yummy movie", tweeted Dawn.
Produced by Noisecastle III, "Fade" is a solid mid-tempo track that features an unique production. It makes me wonder if some of the influence from her recent material, is going to be on the group's new album.

Video Premiere: Leigh Bush - Free Falling

Leigh Bush (formerly known as Sammie) has premiered for his single "Free Falling", which has become a favorite among fans. The track is on his new EP titled "The Leigh Bush Project", that's out now on iTunes.

The video was directed by Kirk Lee, the viral video contains footage of different people skydiving.
"Free Falling is a honest, transparent, vulnerable record about a man putting his heart on the line first in a relationship", Bush explains. "Hoping that his feelings are reciprocated. So for the viral, I really just admire the simplicity of it all. I've had the pleasure of sky diving twice thus far in my life and it's by far the most liberating thing one could possibly do. You're afraid, yet excited, and at peace all at the same time. Very cohesive to falling in love. At first you're timid, but excited but when both parties are on the same heart beat, there's this sense of calm".

After making their long-awaited comeback with "Soulmate #1", F-ve Dolls returned with a new song "Can You Love Me?" featuring Dani from T-ara N4.

"Can You Love Me?" is the title track from their third mini-album "First Love".

The track was composed by hitmaker Double Side Kick. It's a pop ballad that utilizes an acoustic guitar and other stringed instruments. Wasn't expecting a huge change in the music and concept. It's alright track, but I can't find myself listening to it on the regular. The groups agency CCM to me isn't trying to elevate them at all. If they keep releasing lackluster music in future more people will become less interested in them.

The music video was dull for the most part. I love Dani to death, but it seemed like she was too much of the focus in both the song and video.

LORDE has become an overnight sensation especially in the United States. The 16-year-old who's from New Zealand, released her debut album "Pure Heroine" back in September of this year.

The album features her international hit single "Royals", which is currently at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been sitting at that position for six weeks. It also includes my favorites tracks "Tennis Court" and "Team". The ten track album was produced entirely by Joel Little, who is her main collaborator and should stick with him for future releases.

In a interview with NYTimes, she said:
"Lyrically, there's a lot of your typical teen issues. I'm definitely an observer in social situations, and I feel weird social anxiety and loneliness, so there’s a bit of that stuff", Lorde told the NYTimes about the album. "But because I started writing this record around the time all of this stuff was happening with attention, a bit of that leaked into the music as well. I couldn't not talk about it taking over my life. It's a pretty solid introduction into who I am and what my world is like".

The album is in stores now, you can purchase it on iTunes now.

New Music: Lady Gaga - Dope

Lady Gaga has been releasing a new song each week, up until the release of her upcoming album "ARTPOP", which is set to hit stores and digital retailers on November 11th. This time she has given fans a new track a ballad titled "Dope".

4/5

"Dope" was written by Gaga and produced by Rick Rubin. The singer shows off her powerful vocals over the raw piano production. This is a beautiful ballad, it should turns some head, especially when it's sung live.

You can pre-order her album "ARTPOP" on iTunes now.
